You will be responsible for running, setting up, and maintaining custom machinery to produce agricultural hubs, spindles, and industrial parts.
- Run and maintain CNC machines: Primarily CNC lathes to produce parts matching strict quality standards.
- Setups and Troubleshooting: Track machine performance, adjust set-ups, calibrations, and alignments, and troubleshoot CNC lathe machines.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all plant safety precautions, rules, and health and safety practices.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with CNC programming and machine controls (such as Fanuc control systems, tool offsets/changes, and program changeovers).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Skill in using mechanical and digital measuring instruments (such as verniers, micrometers, and calipers) in the imperial system.
- Good knowledge of hand tools and general assembly processes.
