POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Quality Control Team. This role plays a critical part in ensure our units arrive to the customer with highest level of quality possible. The ideal candidate will bring manufacturing/assembly experience with a high level of quality expertise. Also, a strong focus on continuous improvement, production improvement through quality observations and coaching the Manufacturing Team on best practice throughout the build process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Perform final electrical inspection of completed units
• Monitor production operations to ensure they meet quality standards
• Recommend adjustments to production processes when deviations are found
• Segregate and label non-conforming materials and assist with non-conformance investigations
• Verify as-built components that match applicable BOM release
• Ensure all Quality deficiencies have been completed before unit release
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be a Journey person electrician (Alberta recognized certification)
• 3 years of quality inspector experience
• Strong understanding of Canadian electrical code (CEC), with familiarity of NFPA 70 (National electrical code) and applicable US electrical requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, data entry and document review.
• Strong skills in communication, coaching, organization and attention to detail
• Familiarity with gas fitting and refrigeration an asset
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• HVAC controls/equipment experience is considered an asset.
Hours of work
Mon- Thurs 9am-6:30pm Friday 9am- 5:30 pm
44 hours a week
