Job Title: Project Control Officer - APEX ORDS Evergreening
Location: Anywhere in Ontario

Must Haves
- Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc.
- Experience working alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate where required, identify risks, and lead project document deliverables
- Experience in business analysis and interactions, maintaining communication with end users/clients.
- Experience coordinating and tracking user acceptance testing activities
Description / Responsibilities / Skills
Description
- The goal of the APEX/ORDS evergreening initiative is to upgrade the full technical stack for 5 Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks business critical applications.
- Current suite is built with Oracle database, APEX/ORDS, and Red Hat Linux OS software which are all at end-of-life support with the manufacturer.
- Cloud hosting is targeted as part of this evergreening
Experience & Skill Set Requirements
General Skills: 70%
- Maintaining high level requirements and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment supporting project managers and critical projects.
- Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs
- Experience scheduling meetings
- Experience monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository
Desirable Skills: 30%
- Demonstrated excellent project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project, Planview, etc.
- Understanding of basic Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management)
- Use of AI to assist project artifacts
- Experience creating and presenting using powerpoint or alternative
