We work with clients globally to increase facility productivity, optimize labor costs, and improve overall order packing efficiency.

The Opportunity

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of materials, parts, and finished products. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
  • Verify received materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Conduct incoming inspection according to Quality procedures.
  • Record and report receiving issues to team lead.
  • Label and store materials in designated locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Create shipping documentation, including packing slips and bills of lading.
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers and freight companies.
  • Load trucks safely and securely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Monitor stock levels and report inventory concerns.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures.
  • Use proper lifting and handling techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Act as a backup for logistics and warehouse personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications, Education, Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma and above or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, ERP systems).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Familiarity with courier and freight carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL carriers).
  • Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
