Electrical Technician I

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $19.40hr - $24.40hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Electronics technologist diploma/certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working in the electronics manufacturing services field.
• Must be able to read and interpret schematics, manufacturing drawings, specifications and standards.
• Strong technical background including experience using electronic test equipment and fixtures, microscopes, mechanical gauges, soldering equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Testing & trouble shooting products on different production line.
• Reviewing failures and performing root cause analysis across the specific product line.
• Setting up test positions/systems/instruments and performing tests.
• Conducting circuit adjustments requiring analysis against published electrical standards.
• Performing circuit analysis / functional diagnosis using schematic drawing to troubleshoot and to repair the product which fail to meet performance specifications.
• Maintaining electronically- or processor-controlled machines and test rigs.
• Assisting in testing of prototypes & pilot units required to qualify an engineering change build.
• Processing Non-Conforming (NCM) parts and entering correct failure/defect code in ERP.
• Problem solving for continuous process improvement.
• Interfacing and driving solutions, with other departments within the organization.
• Packing and/or assisting in completing FG units, systems or panels, when and where applicable.
• Assisting in meeting and exceeding the relevant metrics (Output, RK, FPY targets).

Nice to Have:

• IPC Repair and Rework Certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP).
