Tig Welder

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with a valid CWB certification to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and/or mild steel components while ensuring compliance with CWB standards and company quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel materials

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings

• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Ensure welds meet CWB standards and pass inspections

• Conduct visual inspections and maintain high-quality workmanship

• Operate grinders and other fabrication tools as required

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid CWB certification (GTAW/TIG – all positions preferred)

• Minimum [2–3] years of TIG welding experience

• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• Experience working with stainless steel and/or aluminum preferred

• Own welding helmet and basic tools (if required)

• CSA-approved safety boots

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in custom fabrication or structural welding

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Forklift or overhead crane experience (asset)
