Scrum Master

The client is seeking an Intermediate Scrum Master to provide Agile leadership, facilitate delivery, support cross-functional teams, and help teams adopt and continuously improve Agile practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of Scrum Master and Business Analyst experience, particularly within DevOps environments, with hands-on exposure to Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, practices, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and support teams in becoming self-organizing and high-performing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog management, prioritization, and refinement.
• Facilitate communication between development, operations, business, and technical stakeholders.
• Track Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown to improve team performance.
• Support requirements gathering, process analysis, gap analysis, and user story development.
• Help resolve conflicts and ensure effective stakeholder engagement.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
• CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum/Agile certification.
• 7+ years of Proven experience as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst in a DevOps environment.
• Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Strong backlog management, requirements gathering, and user story experience.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or PSM certification.
• Agile Coach or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in software development or strong technical environments.
• Experience with BPMN/process modeling and gap analysis.
• Experience in government or regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare.
• Experience with Agile transformation, DevOps transformation, or cloud-native environments.
