Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate with experience in sheet metal fabrication environments, inventory control, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with computer systems including QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle shipping and receiving of materials and finished goods

• Operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials safely

• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records

• Use QuickBooks and other systems for tracking shipments and inventory

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams

• Maintain organized storage areas and material flow

• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies

• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols

Requirements:

• Valid forklift license

• Experience in shipping/receiving and inventory control

• Background in sheet metal or metal fabrication environment

• Basic computer skills, including QuickBooks

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Ability to work in day or afternoon shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with warehouse management systems

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Ability to handle physical work and lift materials as required
