POSITION: Lead Systems Engineer
STATUS: Permanent, Full-Time
LOCATION: Lindsay, ON (45 mins West of Lindsay, ON)
QUALIFICATIONS:· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years in embedded control systems, preferably in aviation.· Proficient in ARP4754A, DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, and requirements management tools like DOORS.· Knowledgeable in avionics/aerospace development, project engineering, configuration management, and quality assurance.· Eligible for CGP/ITAR compliance, with strong analytical and communication skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
OVERVIEW
· Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and manage certification documentation (e.g., ARP4754A, DO-254, DO-178, DO-160).· Conduct EMI/EMC analysis, support testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for product integration.· Lead problem-solving, validation, and verification at all levels to meet customer requirements.· Plan technical reviews, manage design goals, milestones, and subcontractor work packages.· Analyze customer needs, support bids, and provide technical proposals to align with business goals.
