Job Overview:
- This position involves assisting with cable runs and system installations in the security and fire industry.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Understanding of core and third-party security/fire products, software, and systems/electrical technology.
- Ability to adhere to safety standards and local and national codes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced personnel with solutions to systems problems either troubleshooting the system or advising others on how to resolve problems.
- Assist in performing required commissioning documentation and provide accurate information for as-built documentation.
- Maintain appropriate local and National Security/Fire Industry Certifications.
- Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Assist in monitoring project execution per plan and report problems or changes to supervisor or management.
- Complete paperwork and on-site documentation as required.
- Perform self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and applications.
- Adhere to and follow safety guidelines and policies at all times.
