Job Opportunity: Salesforce Developer (Marketing Cloud)

Location: Toronto, ON (4 Days Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Salesforce Developer with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud to join our growing team. This role will be pivotal in designing, developing, and integrating solutions that power personalized, data-driven customer engagement.

You'll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and technology teams to deliver high-impact Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals—while ensuring the highest standards in architecture, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Cloud Development & Integration:

Design and deploy solutions using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio
Develop AMPscript, SQL queries, and server-side JavaScript for dynamic content
Configure data extensions, segmentation, and automated workflows
Integrate Marketing Cloud with core Salesforce CRM and 3rd-party platforms

Platform Integration & Data Management:

Build and maintain APIs and integrations across Salesforce and enterprise systems
Ensure data accuracy, synchronization, and privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

Quality & Governance:

Follow Salesforce best practices: code reviews, documentation, naming conventions
Maintain a secure, scalable, and high-performance environment

Required Qualifications

3+ years of Salesforce development experience (2+ years in Marketing Cloud)
Proficient with AMPscript, SQL, Journey Builder, and Marketing Cloud Studios
Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP)
Deep understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and customer journey orchestration

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and/or Developer
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado)
Experience in CRM/marketing automation in large-scale environments
