Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Team Lead with hands on experience in Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and analytics, particularly with GCP, which is a deal breaker for this role. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and collaborating with cross functional teams to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Design, develop, and implement data solutions using Python, SQL, and GCP.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Monitor and optimize performance of data pipelines and queries in GCP.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience with Python for data processing and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.
- Hands on experience with GCP for data warehousing and analytics.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other GCP services
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience in working with large datasets and data modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in software development and data engineering.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering successful projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
