Description

Our client is looking for a Proposal Writer with a strong software engineering background to join their growing proposal and business development team.

In this role, you'll turn complex technical information, software solutions, and product capabilities into clear, accurate, and compelling content for RFPs and proposals. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and business development teams to support multiple proposals each month.

What You'll Be Doing

• Write and develop technical content for RFP responses, proposals, and business development materials.

• Translate complex engineering concepts and software capabilities into clear, easy-to-understand language.

• Partner with product, engineering, and business development teams to gather and understand technical information.

• Support multiple RFP submissions at the same time while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.

• Build and maintain a library of reusable technical content, product descriptions, and capability summaries.

• Ensure proposal content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with submission requirements.

• Help improve processes for gathering and incorporating technical information into proposals.

What You Must Have

• A software engineering or technical background, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.

• Previous experience with RFPs, proposals, technical writing, or technical documentation.

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

• The ability to adapt technical content for different audiences and requirements.

• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.

• A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to work independently.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with technical subject matter experts.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
