Baker (Weekday Early Mornings) - Tim Hortons

• Location: Tim Hortons® at 1794 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.

• Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time (although we have preferences set out below).

• Wage: $18.65 / hour.

• Schedule: The successful candidate will be eager to work opening shifts daily starting at 4:00AM and ending no earlier than 9:00AM (but potentially longer if the candidate likes). Preference given to candidates with high weekday availability.

• Hours: up to 37.5 to 40 hours per week.

Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to food safety? We are currently seeking up to two Bakers to join our welcoming crew at the Tim Hortons® at 1794 Clearbrook Road location in Abbotsford!

As the restaurant cornerstone, you will plan and execute production, make beautiful baked goods, and communicate carefully with Team Members and Management to make sure we always have product on hand without making too much!
We currently only need dedicated bakers from 4AM to 9AM daily, but candidates who are willing to work in other areas of the restaurant will be trained accordingly and offered full-time hours.

• Pay: $18.65 per hour.

• Reliable Hours: Strong candidates can expect a full-time schedule (37.5 to 40 hours per week).

• Prepare, bake, glaze, fill, and decorate the full showcase of donuts, Timbits, muffins, cookies, and specialty pastries following Tim Hortons build charts, bake times, and presentation requirements.

• Diligently adhere to stringent food safety standards.

• Monitor showcase and other food storage stations, communicate with other Team Members, and use production sheets to bake in appropriate batch sizes, ensuring product availability during peak rushes while adhering strictly to shelf-life timers and not overproducing.

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen and counter area.

• Complete daily restock and cleaning procedures efficiently at the end of shifts.

• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver fast, friendly, and consistent service during all hours.

• Reliability: When a Baker unexpectedly misses a shift it can be disastrous for the entire team. You must be dependable, and committed to working scheduled shifts.

• Detail-Oriented: Follow detailed and sometimes complex production procedures to ensure safely made and delicious food products.

• Thrives Under Pressure: Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced retail/food service environment.
