Bar Manager
About This Role:
As Bar Manager, you will oversee all aspects of bar operations within our casino hospitality environment. This is a customer-facing leadership position where you'll drive both operational excellence and revenue growth. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing staff performance, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. Your focus on sales and customer experience will be instrumental in building guest loyalty and maximizing bar profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor bar staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service and maintain professional standards
- Manage bar inventory, ordering, and cost controls to optimize profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and drive sales
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming, hospitality, and alcohol service regulations
- Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and staff performance metrics
- Train staff on products, service techniques, and customer engagement best practices
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized bar environment
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar hospitality leadership role
- Strong background in sales, customer service, and guest experience management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
- Knowledge of beverage products, mixology, and bar operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Understanding of gaming and casino hospitality environments is a plus
- Current certifications in responsible alcohol service and food safety are preferred
Working Conditions:
This is a front-of-house position in a casino hospitality setting. You can expect a dynamic, customer-facing work environment with regular interaction with guests and staff. The role may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts typical of casino operations.
