GeoTalent Software Developer

Closing Date/Time: 2026-10-08, 10:30 a.m.

Location: Toronto ON

Pay rate: 95-101/hr incorp

• Work Arrangement: Provisional Hybrid (7.25 hours/day, Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities

• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications, including writing/generating code, compiling data-driven programs, and conducting unit tests.

• Resolve and troubleshoot technical issues during software use, implementation, conversion, and migration.

• Perform knowledge transfer of all assigned code and documentation to the Project Manager and team members via meetings and shared repositories.

Mandatory Requirements & Core Qualifications

• GeoTalent: 10+ years of experience working within the GeoTalent development environment (TP Macro Language and TP environment) to build front-end web and back-end administrative console features.

• .NET Experience: 8+ years total .NET experience (10+ years preferred for enterprise criteria), including ASP.NET Core (.NET 6+), MS .NET Entity Framework, Blazor Server, C#, LINQ, and Razor syntax.

• Database & SQL: Strong data modeling and SQL programming skills, including the ability to write queries, stored procedures, and views (MS SQL Server 2019+).

• Environment & Tools: Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SCORM, and IIS.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) modules and Sax Basic (TP Macro Language).

• Experience with iText 5 (.NET PDF libraries) and PDF/UA document development.

• Front-end development skills including HTML5, Bootstrap V4+, CSS3, and JavaScript/JQuery.

• Knowledge of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.
