Job Description- Handle all assigned customer requests for freight movement
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, Sales staff, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment.
- Builds and maintains carrier relationships.
- Successfully conducts and completes all assigned training.
- Participates in continuous improvement training and trains others.
- Negotiation with both customers and carriers.
- Maintain and follow all SOPs for various customers.
- Provides additional backup support for the team when required.
- Communicate with customers on a regular basis on any shipments being handled.
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
- Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Strong problem solving
- Effective Negotiation Skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
