Banquet and Restaurant Service Assistant

The Banquet and Restaurant Service Assistant supports restaurant dining service, weddings and formal banquets, corporate events, and mixed events across banquet and restaurant operations. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Banquet Manager, this role provides table-service support, assists with food and beverage service, welcomes guests, supports service recovery, and helps prepare and maintain dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas for restaurant service, banquets, weddings, and corporate events.
• Assist with food and beverage service and provide full table-service support.
• Welcome guests and support guest reception and service recovery.
• Coordinate orders accurately with service and culinary teams.
• Clear tables and reset rooms efficiently between services and events.
• Support event operations across banquet and restaurant service areas.
• Clean and maintain dining areas throughout service.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in banquet and restaurant service.
• Knowledge of food safety and table-setting practices.
• Guest relations and service recovery skills.
• Strong order accuracy, teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
