Your Role

As a Co-op Student, you will support various aspects of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to on-site execution. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in project coordination, scheduling, and documentation
  • Supporting site managers in overseeing daily construction activities on jobsite
  • Conducting safety checks and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Participating in pre-construction meetings, contract reviews, and team planning sessions
  • Assisting with quality control and ensuring adherence to project specifications
  • Learning to work with consultants and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related Co-op Program.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools, software, or techniques is an asset, but not required.
  • Own vehicle, Full G Driver's License
  • Willingness to travel or work out of town, if required.
