We are looking for a full time teacher for the 2027/2028 school year for our Kindergarten cohort.
Early applicants who are successful will be invited to be involved in our programming for the current school year where possible, to ease transitions and provide optimum support and preparation.
Job Description:We are hiring a BC Certified Teacher for our multi-aged, nature-based K-5 school. This position is for a class teacher position within our Kindergarten cohort. Teachers will participate in curriculum development, weekly meetings, student assessments, and social-emotional development plans, and are responsible for the daily implementation of BC Curriculum through child centred, inquiry-based learning. We have the unique learning environment where we spend a large portion of our day learning in, with and from nature in an outdoor setting which is then supported and supplemented by learning in our indoor space at our Nature School.
Standard weekly hours are as follows:Monday to Friday, 8 hours every day 8:30am-3:30 on site with an additional 1 hour per day for documentation and planning.
Total 40 hours a week.

Qualifications:
- BC Certified Teacher.
- Clean Criminal Record Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged students.
- Applicants with experience working in an outdoor setting or in a multi-aged classroom preferred.
Annual salary: 55,000-58,000 plus room for growth.
