Lead Hand Sanitation

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is hiring a Sanitation Lead Hand for a full-time night-shift role in food manufacturing.

Shift: 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., Monday night to Saturday morning (with occasional OT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Sanitation Supervisor in assigning and coordinating departmental work while actively participating in sanitation activities
• Complete required sanitation and quality documentation
• Assist in troubleshooting sanitation issues
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the facility, including production equipment, compactors, and designated areas
• Train and coach new employees
• Follow equipment lockout procedures during sanitation activities
• Maintain food safety standards and report concerns to Quality Assurance immediately
• Follow all food safety and health and safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food-manufacturing sanitation, industrial cleaning, or chemical handling
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong people skills—approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
• Strong leadership attributes and excellent attention to detail
• Dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
