Receiver/Walkie Operator

Nova Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Receiver with Walkie/Lift experience for a day shift opportunity within a busy distribution center. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, replenishing, and maintaining inventory while ensuring a safe and efficient warehouse operation.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organize inbound shipments.
• Perform replenishment activities and stock placement using a walkie rider, reach truck, or forklift.
• Sort, rotate, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collect, organize, and dispose of damaged skids and empty pallets.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Charge and perform basic maintenance on forklift batteries.
• Assist with order picking, loading, and unloading trailers as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
• Valid experience operating a walkie rider/electric pallet jack; forklift or reach truck experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when required.
