To provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. Duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue and posting receipts.

Primary Responsibilities of the position

• co-ordination of purchasing activities with approved supplier base. Negotiate best pricing and discount, with supply base - applying principles of buying, inventory control & transportations
  Continuous review of procurements to ensure appropriate negotiations conducted, issues resolved with supply base
• Issue purchase orders from properly authorized requisitions
• Assist in inventory counts & reporting.
• Contact with stock-keepers and purchasing assistants when needed. Ensure inventory levels are appropriate & orders are timely to secure economic deliveries

Education, experience, skills

• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing/Business administration or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing with a professional designation
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, effectively handle pressure, and maintain good relations with suppliers and vendors
• Solid understanding of Purchasing Terms & Conditions
