Cheese Maker Helper / Production Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cheese Maker Helper to assist with cheese production.

This is a hands-on position, so we are looking for someone who is a fast learner, works efficiently, and is comfortable being on their feet for long periods of time.

Main Duties:

• Assist with receiving milk deliveries
• Help with the milk pasteurization process
• Assist the cheese maker with cooking and preparing cheese
• Help with different stages of cheese production
• Assist the cheese maker with various duties around the production area
• Prepare and organize materials and equipment as needed
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Is a fast learner and able to follow instructions
• Works quickly and efficiently
• Can stand and work on their feet for long periods
• Is reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Pays attention to detail
• Is comfortable working in a food production environment
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Is willing to learn the cheese-making process

Experience in cheese making or food production is an asset, but not required. Training can be provided for the right person.
