ABOUT EARTHDAILY
EarthDaily is revolutionizing the way we understand and monitor our planet. Through cutting-edge Earth Observation (EO) technology and geospatial analytics, we provide unparalleled insights for industries ranging from agriculture to mining, insurance, and government intelligence. Our mission is to build the world's most advanced change detection system to capture, analyze, and interpret global shifts in near real-time.
OUR CREW
Our global, distributed team represents a variety of business lines and is made up of business development, sales, marketing and support professionals, data scientists, software engineers, project managers and finance, HR, and IT professionals. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, Vancouver-based Sales Operations Analyst to join our crew!
READY TO LAUNCH?
Do you want to join one of the most exciting space companies at the forefront of global change detection/change monitoring? At EarthDaily, the Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our CRM and sales data across multiple lines of business and market verticals. This is a full-time, hybrid position based at our Vancouver Convention Centre office. Occasional travel may be required.
PREPARE FOR IMPACT!
As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will partner with the Sales Operations and Finance teams to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, establish and enforce data entry standards, and maintain the governance processes that keep records consistent as the business scales.
As a detail-oriented problem solver with a systems mindset, you will leverage CRM tooling, reporting platforms, and all available processes to surface anomalies before they reach downstream reporting. You'll take a proactive approach to data stewardship, routinely auditing records rather than waiting for errors to surface and translating recurring issues into durable process and system improvements. As a trusted resource to the sales and finance teams, you will ensure that account, opportunity, and pipeline data can be relied upon for forecasting, commission calculation, and executive decision-making.
Data Quality and Cleanup
  • Review and audit CRM records (contacts, accounts, opportunities, leads) for accuracy, completeness, and duplicates
  • Identify and correct data entry errors, missing fields, and inconsistent formatting in the CRM
  • Lead or support data cleanup projects such as deduplication, record merging, and standardizing naming conventions
  • Manage the import and validation of new leads or account data from third-party sources
Standards, Governance and Training
  • Establish and maintain data entry guidelines, and train and support sales reps on proper data entry practices
  • Maintain data definitions and a data dictionary for standard fields used across the sales team
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce recurring data quality issues
  • Escalate or collaborate with senior Sales Operations, Finance, and/or Data Governance staff on complex or cross-system data issues
Reporting and Metrics
  • Build and monitor data quality dashboards and reports, and investigate anomalies and trends
  • Track and report on data quality metrics (e.g., duplicate rate, field completeness, data decay) and remediation progress to Sales Operations and Finance leadership
Systems, Integrations and Automation
  • Partner with Sales Ops and IT on integration checks between the CRM and other connected sales tools (e.g., marketing automation, lead enrichment platforms)
  • Design and build sales automation and AI solutions to increase process efficiency and suggest improvements to the customer experience

YOUR PAST MISSIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information systems, data analytics, data science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, data quality, revenue operations, or a related analytical role, with a proven track record of improving the accuracy and reliability of business-critical data
  • Hands-on experience administering or maintaining a CRM platform, including bulk data operations using data loaders, deduplication tools, or similar utilities
  • Demonstrated experience cleaning, reconciling, and manipulating large datasets (10,000+ rows) using advanced Excel functions such as INDEX/MATCH, nested IFs, array formulas, data tables, and Power Query
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports in a CRM or BI environment (Salesforce, HubSpot, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Exposure to data governance or data quality frameworks
  • Experience supporting forecasting, pipeline reporting, or commission processes in a SaaS or technical sales environment
  • Applied use of AI for analysis or automation

YOUR TOOLKIT
  • Deep working knowledge of CRM data structures, including the relationships between accounts, contacts, opportunities, and pipeline stages (HubSpot preferred but not required)
  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes and metrics (prospecting, lead gen, contracts, time to close, ACV/TCV/LCV, CAC/CPL, ROAS/ROMI, etc.)
  • Understanding of finance and reporting metrics (revenue recognition, backlog and pipeline calculations, close probabilities, growth scenarios, CAGR, etc.)
  • Has built, or can build, AI tools to automate sales processes (e.g., Claude, HubSpot Breeze)
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data validation
  • Basic to intermediate SQL for querying and validating data across systems
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, systematic approach to identifying, investigating, and resolving data issues
  • Understands the downstream impact of poor data quality on forecasting, reporting, and commission accuracy
  • Curious and inquisitive, excellent at asking questions to understand why an error occurred rather than only correcting it
  • Able to work independently on recurring data quality tasks while recognizing when to escalate; highly organized with excellent time management and the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Strong work ethic and self-drive, with an honest and ethical approach
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude, and experience collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams

YOUR COMPENSATION
Base Salary Range: $55,000 to $80,000 CAD annually
The range is based on Vancouver, BC-derived compensation for this role. Individual placement in the range is determined based on many factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The top end of the range is typically reserved for individuals that meet or exceed all required qualifications and show demonstrated experience and expertise in all responsibilities of the role.
OUR SPACE
We'd love to welcome you to our world of software for space. We have a shared passion for building production critical systems that generate near real-time views of Earth from satellites that power real-world applications like disaster mitigation, environmental monitoring and crop yield improvements.
This is a full-time, in-office role at our Vancouver Convention Centre office, working in a fast-paced environment with regular collaboration across a team spread over North American time zones, and occasional travel (approximately 10%).
