310T Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic Location: Milton, ON (Highway 401 & James Snow Parkway) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (No nights or weekends) Compensation: $37.00 – $42.00 / hour + $5,000 Signing Bonus
About the Role: 310T Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced 310T Licensed Mechanic to join a premier transit bus and highway coach repair and refurbishment facility. In this role, you will work out of a modern, clean, 100,000 sq. ft. indoor shop on exciting projects—including cutting-edge transit fleet innovations and EV bus conversions. Key Responsibilities: 310T Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic
  • Perform regular maintenance, complex diagnostics, and complete repairs on transit buses and highway coaches.
  • Execute major refurbishments, including full disassembly and reassembly of buses.
  • Determine the extent of required repairs, adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Conduct mandatory MTO inspections, document deficiencies, and carry out necessary service schedules.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work across various mechanical systems, including:
    • Electrical & Electronics
    • HVAC & Diagnostics
    • Drivetrain & Engines
    • Suspension, Braking, & Air Systems
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Certification: Valid 310T Truck and Coach License.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a bus or truck mechanic.
  • Inspection Knowledge: Experience performing MTO inspections and documenting deficiencies.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting with electronic and diagnostic equipment, alongside deep knowledge of fleet maintenance practices.
  • Tools: Must provide own necessary hand tools.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to stand and bend for long periods and lift heavy equipment/materials as required.
  • Work Status: Must be a Canadian resident with a safety-oriented, detail-focused, and professional mindset.
