Internal Service Advisor

Southlake Ford Lincoln is looking for a Internal Service Advisor.

The Internal Service Advisor is responsible for ensuing the New and Used Car work orders are written and closed properly ensuring proper billing, tech hours and operation codes are used. Also ensuring that accessories and add on's are properly organized with the appropreate vendors.

Job Duties:

• Provide front-line customer service for the Service and Sales Department.
• Work with Sales and Service staff to address their questions or concerns.
• Coordinate with service technicians, detailers and Sales team to ensure timely and accurate completion of vehicle deliveries.
• Ensure follow-up's to Sales staff are done to ensure that sold vehicle are completed on time for delivery.
• Providing repair recommendations and accurate estimates to Sales Managers.
• Ensure high standards of satisfaction by addressing and resolving concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of all services performed and ensure that all documentation is complete.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Record and report vehicle status.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager/Fixed Operations Manager.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and repairs is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using automotive service software and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
• Knowledge of PBS an asset.
