Material Handler Forklift Operator

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company located in Etobicoke, is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join their team through our agency.

This position is for a new afternoon shift. The successful candidate will receive approximately 2–3 weeks of training on the morning shift before transitioning to the afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (counterbalance and/or reach) in a safe and efficient manner
• Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and production areas
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against paperwork
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
• Perform general warehouse duties including sorting, staging, and housekeeping
• Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines
• Provide support to production teams as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid forklift certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent forklift and warehouse experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is considered an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be available to complete 2–3 weeks of training on the morning shift before moving to the afternoon shift

Shift Information

• Afternoon Shift – new shift
• Initial 2–3 weeks of training on the morning shift
• Transition to the afternoon shift following successful completion of training
• Monday to Friday
