Service Porter

Charlesglen Toyota – Alberta's Celebration Destination is family-owned and operated and one of Calgary's largest Toyota dealerships. We're looking for a friendly, reliable and organized Service Porter to join our Service team.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that helps keep our busy Service Department moving. You'll welcome customers, assist with the flow and organization of vehicles, provide customer shuttle rides, help maintain the service drive, and make sure vehicles are handled with care throughout their time with us.

You don't need previous dealership experience to get started. If you enjoy working with people, are comfortable behind the wheel, like staying active throughout your day, and take pride in being someone your team can count on, we'd like to hear from you.

SCHEDULE:

Our dealership is open Monday through Saturday. The schedule for this position is:

• Monday to Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO!

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll support the day-to-day flow of our Service Department while helping create a positive experience for our customers.

• Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, professional assistance
• Conduct walk-arounds of customer vehicles and identify visible areas requiring attention
• Safely move, park and organize customer vehicles throughout the dealership
• Arrange vehicles in assigned areas to support an organized and efficient service operation
• Provide shuttle transportation for customers while their vehicles are being serviced
• Take customer vehicles through the car wash as required
• Handle customer questions and concerns with professionalism and a genuine desire to help
• Monitor vehicles for visible damage or blemishes and communicate concerns appropriately
• Help maintain a clean, safe and organized service drive
• Assist with tire inventory, including moving tires to designated storage areas
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of vehicles and lot areas
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Support the Service and Sales teams with vehicle movement and other operational needs
• Perform additional duties as required to support the department

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

We're looking for someone who is dependable, customer-focused and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change throughout the day.

• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• A genuine desire to provide a great customer experience
• Friendly, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
• Comfortable driving and maneuvering a variety of vehicles
• Valid driver's licence with a driving record acceptable for the position
• Ability to safely lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working on your feet and completing physical tasks throughout the day
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail when handling and inspecting customer vehicles
• Team-oriented approach and willingness to help wherever needed
• Previous automotive or dealership experience is an asset, but is not required
