Looking to Relocate? Not a problem! We have relocation assistance options + temporary housing available.

Position Overview:

Quality lives in the field - and the field is yours. Our Service Supervisor is the hands-on leader who raises the bar on every job: coaching technicians on site, catching issues before they become callbacks, and making sure every customer sees Welldone at its best. This is not a desk job - success comes from being present on job sites, sharing your technical expertise, and setting other techs up for success. You are the critical link between our field team and office coordination, and a big part of the reason our work is done right the first time.

Welldone Mechanical Services | Saskatoon, SK

If it's not done well, it's not Welldone

We have proudly served Saskatoon since 1998 as a locally owned and operated company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services for our commercial and light industrial clients. Our team-focused culture encourages professional growth, collaboration, and long-term career development - we believe our employees are our greatest asset and invest in their success.

Benefits:

  • Medical and Dental insurance; 100% paid premiums by employer
  • Life insurance
  • Critical illness insurance
  • Paid vacation time
  • 11 paid holidays
  • RRSP with company match program
  • Option to join the company phone plan or receive partial reimbursement for your personal phone

What We Provide:

  • Take-home work truck + gas card
  • Locally owned and operated
  • Stability and growth with year-round work
  • A true leadership seat - your findings shape training, standards, and how our service team runs
  • Multiple professional career path options
  • Company paid education & industry training
  • Team events
  • Positive culture motivated by continuous improvement
  • High standard of professionalism in "who we are and what we do"

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide hands-on field leadership through regular job site visits, real-time technical support, and troubleshooting alongside our technicians. This is a working field role: you will be on the tools with the team - climbing ladders and accessing rooftop units, working from scissor and boom lifts with fall arrest, servicing equipment in attics, crawlspaces, ceiling spaces, and mechanical rooms, and lifting and carrying components and tools up to 50 lb (23 kg) unassisted - in Saskatchewan winter cold and summer rooftop heat, through full days on your feet.
  • Lead our Quality Control program: conduct job site inspections, quality audits, and post-completion reviews on preventive maintenance and service work, physically accessing the equipment wherever it is installed - rooftops, ceiling spaces, crawlspaces, and mechanical rooms - to verify the work firsthand.
  • Review service documentation, including BuildOps reports, for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism.
  • Coach technicians on workmanship, efficiency, documentation, and customer communication - delivering immediate, constructive feedback that prevents repeat issues. You set the standard by demonstrating the right way on the job, doing the work alongside the technician rather than describing it.
  • Track callbacks, warranty work, and recurring service concerns; identify workmanship issues, training needs, and process improvements that reduce rework.
  • Strengthen handoffs between dispatch, service coordination, and project teams to keep job timelines predictable.
  • Step in with customers when technical credibility or a quality intervention is needed - go to the site, diagnose and resolve the issue yourself, identify the root cause, and prevent repeat problems, including after-hours and emergency calls when the situation calls for it.
  • Reinforce safe work practices, PPE compliance, and code and regulatory standards on every site, and model them personally - including proper fall protection, lift operation, and safe lifting technique.
  • Share findings and recommendations with the Service Manager to guide technician development and continuous improvement, and take part in weekly service team meetings.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a service-based or technical environment; previous HVAC industry experience is required.
  • Journeyperson certificate in a related trade is a strong asset (Red Seal welcome).
  • Strong diagnostic and technical troubleshooting skills on commercial mechanical systems.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience - you make the technicians around you better.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with customers and coworkers alike.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP software; BuildOps experience is an advantage - we will train the right candidate.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and following established processes.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Self-motivated with a personal commitment to continuous improvement, team development, and delivering exceptional service.

Who succeeds here:

Trade skills and field experience get you in the door. The people who build lasting careers at Welldone bring three things with them:

Humility: You actively pursue learning and improvement, value input from others, and are open about acknowledging and learning from your mistakes.

Coachability: You have a keen desire - and the ability - to pick up new knowledge and skills.

Caring: You bring real commitment to your work, and kindness and support to your fellow technicians and customers.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
