HVAC TESTER - HEATING EQUIPMENT

Shifts: Day & Afternoon Shift Available
Position: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

We are looking for an HVAC Tester with hands-on HVAC experience and a strong understanding of heating systems to join our team in Etobicoke.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing newly built industrial heating units, troubleshooting issues, and making sure equipment is operating properly before it is shipped to customers.

What You'll Do

• Test and inspect newly built HVAC/heating units (Propane, Gas, and Diesel)
• Start up and operate heating equipment to verify proper performance
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC-related issues
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• Check components, connections, controls, and safety systems
• Identify and report defects or performance issues
• Work with the production and assembly team to resolve problems
• Complete testing documentation and quality checks
• Follow all workplace safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous HVAC, heating, or mechanical experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC/heating systems
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable and comfortable working in a production environment
• HVAC/Gas Technician experience or certification is an asset

Shift Information

Day Shift: Available

Afternoon Shift: Available
Candidates interested in the afternoon shift must be available to train on the day shift for approximately 4 weeks before moving to the afternoon shift.
