Licensed Diesel Mechanic I (310T) - Sun to Wed Days

Location: Mississauga, Ontario Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (four 10 hour days) Pay: $43.00 to $46.00 per hour

Four tens, an early start, and three days off every week. You're done by mid afternoon, and Thursday through Saturday is yours.

This is a licensed 310T seat on days in Mississauga, on a fleet that's maintained rather than run into the ground, with current tooling and diagnostic equipment. No flat rate and no fighting for hours.

• Diagnosing, overhauling and repairing tractors and trailers across the full fleet
• Major component work: engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems
• Air and hydraulic brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, suspension, HVAC
• All levels of preventive maintenance, properly documented
• Identifying warrantable repairs and writing them up on the repair order
• Road testing units to confirm the repair before they go back into service
• Running your own board with minimal supervision

• Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certificate of Qualification, current with Skilled Trades Ontario
• 5+ years on tractor-trailer equipment
• Class G licence, with the ability to obtain a DZ within six months of hire
• Full set of hand tools
• Someone who takes pride in the work leaving the bay right the first time

• $43.00 to $46.00 per hour base on days
