Warehouse Associate

Decotec | Full-Time | $20.00 per hour Decotec is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the safe and efficient handling, storage, picking, staging, and movement of products throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, takes pride in maintaining an organized workspace, and works well both independently and as part of a team. What You'll Do * Load and unload products safely and efficiently. * Move, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse. * Re-pile small bundles to create larger bundles for restocking. * Rotate inventory appropriately, ensuring older stock is positioned at the front. * Identify and communicate old product available for sale and/or small bundles that can be used to fill orders. * Distribute orders for picking and ensure products are placed in the correct staging areas. * Handle and store products appropriately to prevent damage. * Assist with preparing orders for shipment, including picking and staging materials. * Verify product quantities and assist with tallying inbound and outbound materials. * Direct trucks to the appropriate loading areas. * Ensure trucks and common carriers are loaded with the correct products in the proper order and that loads are safely secured and tarped as required by weather conditions. * Assist forklift operators and other warehouse team members as required. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work environment. * Report product damage, discrepancies, and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner. * Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines. * Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). * Participate in training and cross-training initiatives. * Perform housekeeping and other general warehouse duties as required. What You Bring * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous forklift operating experience. * Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs. * Previous warehouse or general labour experience is an asset. * Wood and/or lumber industry experience is an asset. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Strong work ethic and positive attitude. * Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. * Good communication skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to perform physically demanding work safely and effectively.
