Detailer / Shuttler

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Detailer / Shuttler to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of new and used vehicles, preparing vehicles for customer delivery, and safely moving vehicles throughout the dealership and to other designated locations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a busy dealership environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Vehicle Detailing

• Clean and prepare new and used vehicles for customer delivery and display.
• Perform interior and exterior vehicle cleaning according to dealership standards.
• Vacuum carpets, seats, floor mats, trunks, and other interior areas.
• Clean dashboards, consoles, door panels, windows, mirrors, and other interior surfaces.
• Wash, dry, and clean the exterior of vehicles.
• Remove dirt, dust, stains, fingerprints, stickers, and other debris from vehicles.
• Apply appropriate cleaning and finishing products to maintain vehicle appearance.
• Report vehicle damage, scratches, dents, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Vehicle Shuttling & Lot Operations

• Safely drive and move vehicles around the dealership property.
• Move vehicles between the service department, detail area, body shop, and parking lots.
• Transport vehicles to and from other dealership locations or designated locations when required.
• Organize and maintain vehicle parking areas according to dealership procedures.
• Maintain proper control of vehicle keys and ensure keys are returned to the designated location.
• Follow all dealership and traffic safety procedures when operating vehicles.
• Immediately report any accident, damage, mechanical concern, or safety issue.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Position Type

Job Title: Detailer / Shuttler
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 8am start (8 to 10 hours shift)

Pay: $17.60/hr
Location: Etobicoke, ON (Near Kipling Station)
