Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to start immediately. In this role, you will provide practical health and safety guidance, recommendations, and solutions to help clients maintain compliance and strengthen their workplace safety programs.
Brief Job Duties:

• Responsible for safety orientation, safety training, job site inspections and reporting.
• Perform job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analysis, safe work procedures, written reports and recommendations.
• Responsible for monitoring adherence to the company safety program by all Fiera Foods Inc employees and subcontractors.
• Research, plan, organize and conduct training programs for Fiera Foods Inc supervisors and field employees, regarding WHMIS, Health & Safety Awareness Orientation, Personal Protective Equipment, etc.
• Perform additional assignments as per supervisor's direction.
• Conduct inspections, Incident investigations, and occupational safety activities within other departments.
• Document reports using MS Word and Excel.
• Other job duties as required on the job.

Position: H&S Coordinator

Rate: $23/hr

Shifts: Must be Flexible (Morning, Afternoon & Night)

Weekly Schedule: Flexible (Usually 5 days a week, including weekends)

Location: Toronto

Experience: Minimum 1 year with an H&S background

Person with DL Preferred
