Job Description

Chicken Omnibus is a growing local restaurant in Calgary, primarily serving Korean fried chicken, sweet & spicy chicken (Dakgangjeong), and simple Korean dishes. We are looking for a reliable and team-oriented Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen staff.

Our work environment is steady and manageable—lunch hours are generally quiet, with a busier rush during dinner service. The vast majority of our local Canadian customers love our food and appreciate our service, making it a great and welcoming place to work.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook main menu items, focusing on Korean fried chicken and simple Korean dishes

Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen work stations

Assist with prep work and order fulfillment during peak hours

Qualifications & Preferences

Preferred: Prior experience working in a Korean restaurant or handling Korean cuisine

Language: Korean language skills are NOT required

Preferred: Valid Food Safety Certification or Culinary Certification (reflected in compensation)

Beginners Welcome: Applicants with limited experience who are eager to learn are welcome—we offer thorough, friendly on-the-job training
