Job Title: Casual Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

Location: Medical clinic in 100 Mile House, BC

Hours:
Part-time/casual position with a minimum of 5 hours per week on Mondays from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Additional hours may be available for short-notice sick coverage and vacation coverage, with the possibility of increased regular hours in the future.

Position Details:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Medical Office Assistant to join a busy primary care clinic in 100 Mile House. The successful applicant should enjoy working with people and be comfortable in a patient-facing environment.

Duties may include:

• Greeting and checking in patients
• Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
• Scheduling and managing appointments
• General reception and administrative duties
• Working within an electronic medical record (EMR)
• Assisting with day-to-day clinic operations

Qualifications/Skills:

• Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance
• Friendly, professional, and good with people
• Reliable and able to provide occasional short-notice coverage
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work comfortably in a paper-free/electronic clinic environment
• Previous medical office, MOA, or reception experience is an asset but not required
• Training will be provided

Wage: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience
