THE ROLE:

At STRIVE, we are hiring an experienced and reliable Receiver for a manufacturing environment in Dundas, ON.

This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of previous receiving experience who is comfortable handling typical receiving duties in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the team with receiving incoming materials and shipments, organizing materials, and ensuring deliveries are accurately received and handled.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive incoming materials, parts, and shipments
• Unload and organize incoming deliveries
• Verify quantities and shipment information
• Inspect incoming materials for visible damage
• Organize and put away received materials
• Move materials to the appropriate areas within the facility
• Complete receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Support general receiving and material-handling duties
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1–2 years of previous receiving experience
• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is an asset
• Forklift experience/licence is an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and dependable
• Comfortable with material-handling duties
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Available to start October 5th
• Able to commit to the approximately 8-week assignment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational and communication skills
