Job Overview:

We are seeking dependable and experienced Cooks to join our client's team for upcoming events in Brantford. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are looking for flexible, event-based opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare food according to recipes and event requirements
Adhere to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures
Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, boilers, etc.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area at all times
Ensure the security and proper use of company assets

Qualifications:

Food Handling / Safety Certificate is mandatory
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Ability to safely handle knives and kitchen equipment
Strong understanding of food safety rules and regulations
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Physically capable of lifting, bending, and pushing as required
Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed
