Senior Software Engineer

Our client manages large lottery campaigns for major foundations. They currently have an opening on their team to add a Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing software and integration solutions that supports key business capabilities. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for Integration & Data Platform Engineering. The integration platform Boomi supports both real-time and scheduled business transactions by orchestrating hundreds of APIs connecting many to many applications and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of integration design patterns, integration points and business systems and develop integrations with SAAS, AWS, and Snowflake.
• Ability to analyze and interpret logs (Process/Atom Logs).
• Own development end to end from high-quality coding, unit testing, UAT support to Prod deployment.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting API requests, SFDC connectors/listeners, Database Connectors, and Web services Connectors/Listener, process/ sub-processes interdependencies and scheduled data jobs, performance issues.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs and monitoring API performance using analytics tools.
• Through understanding of REST, Web services and API Communication protocols S/FTP/S, HTTP/S, File I/O etc.
• Good understanding on Integration patterns and Agile Framework.
• Knowledge on Message Queueing and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge on Boomi Process building, development and good understanding of various data formats XML, JSON, CSV, Databases.
• Design and develop lightweight API, middleware and edge-computing solutions using Cloudflare Workers and Typescript.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and different time zones to drive issues to resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Boomi environments and configurations preferably for Boomi on AWS.
• Experience developing solutions using Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare developer platform.
• Experience building and deploying Typescript/JavaScript applications in serverless or edge-computing environments.
• Experience with Cloudflare KV, Durable Objects, R2 Storage or equivalent serverless technologies.
• Experience designing and securing public-facing APIs and webhook-based integrations.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Gateway patterns and edge security architectures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Total 8+ years of experience in integration development.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in Boomi platform, including API development, Boomi connectors, data mapping, error and exception handling and process design.
• Proficiency in various integration patterns and data exchange formats (e.g., REST, JSON, XML).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work effectively and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, business analysts, and management).
