Operations Technician (Nights)

Inovata Foods Corp. is looking for a full-time Operations Technician to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America's largest retailers.

Position Details:

• Vacancy Type: Planned Vacancy
• Compensation: $28.00 per hour (plus $2.00 shift premium)
  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support production by assembling, filling, packaging, sealing, boxing, and palletizing finished product
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, floors, and work areas following written procedures
• Operate and support CIP (Clean In Place) systems, ensuring processes are completed correctly and safely
• Disassemble, reassemble, and set up production equipment for cleaning, changeovers, and startup
• Inspect equipment and CIP systems, troubleshoot minor issues, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Complete production, sanitation, HACCP, and CIP documentation accurately
• Follow all GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and health and safety requirements
• Provide relief to line personnel and support other departments as required

Requirements:

• WHMIS 2015 completed within the last 3 years
• GMP, HACCP, food safety, and Lockout Tagout (LOTO) awareness training required (can be provided)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability considered an asset
• Previous experience with production equipment, sanitation, line set-up, or CIP systems considered an asset
• Forklift certification considered an asset
  

Working Conditions:

This position has daily exposure to a food processing environment which includes dampness, cold temperatures, grease, cleaning chemicals, and fumes. The position may require varying start times, extended hours, weekends, overtime, and flexible shifts depending on operational needs. Personal Protective Equipment is required.
