As a family-owned business that began right here in Port Hawkesbury, N.S., the members of the Seaboard Tire team work together as a unit dedicated to providing the community with a first-class option for all vehicle maintenance needs. Join us today—we are currently hiring a Tire Technician based in Port Hawkesbury, N.S.
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Core Job Functions:
- Work in accordance with all safety procedures, standards, and regulations
- Interact with all customers in a professional and service-oriented manner
- Attend and participate in scheduled safety and maintenance meetings
- Attend and participate in work-related training and development opportunities
- Perform maintenance tasks and keep the work area clean and organized
- Install new tires, complete retorques and flat repairs, track tire inventory, and perform additional job duties as required
Job Requirements:
- High degree of professionalism
- Experience operating a tire changer and wheel balancer is considered an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
