Amada CNC Punching Machine Operator

Compensation: $20.00–$27.00/hour, based on experience

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM — 1 position
• Afternoon/Evening Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM — 1 position

Our client is currently seeking experienced Amada CNC Punching Machine Operators to join their manufacturing team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating Amada CNC punching machines to manufacture high-quality sheet metal components according to technical drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

• Set up and operate Amada CNC punching machines.
• Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently.
• Select and set appropriate tooling for production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments when required.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and identify machine or production issues.
• Use measuring and inspection tools to verify part dimensions and quality.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Work independently while meeting production requirements and deadlines.

• Previous experience operating Amada CNC punching machines in a manufacturing or sheet metal environment.
• Direct Amada CNC Punching Machine experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
• Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and production requirements.
