THE ROLE:
At STRIVE, we are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Technician for a specialized manufacturing environment in Dundas, ON.
This position is ideal for an Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering Technician who enjoys hands-on work and wants to work with custom electrical and electromechanical equipment. The role involves electrical assembly, wiring, soldering, testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspection while working alongside manufacturing and engineering teams in Dundas, ON.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build electrical and electromechanical assemblies
- Assemble chassis modules and specialized equipment
- Complete electrical wiring, panel wiring, and cable harnessing
- Install electrical and mechanical components
- Perform soldering and electrical connections
- Read and follow electrical schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation
- Perform testing and verification of completed assemblies
- Conduct visual inspections and identify workmanship or quality issues
- Troubleshoot electrical and assembly-related problems
- Follow established quality and safety procedures
- Complete required documentation
- Communicate issues with production and engineering teams
- Assist with training and knowledge sharing when required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electrical/Electronics/Control Engineering Technician Diploma
- Hands-on experience with electrical or electromechanical assembly
- Experience with wiring and soldering
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Experience using hand tools and common power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify defects
- Experience with electrical testing and verification
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong interest in learning and developing within a technical environment
