The Service Porter is responsible for moving and parking vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness of the service area, greeting customers, and assisting with various tasks to support the service department. This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations and a positive customer experience at Kieswetter Mazda.

Job Duties:

• Move and park vehicles in a safe and efficient manner within the dealership lot and service area.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking lot, car wash, and customer waiting areas.
• Assist in retrieving and delivering customer vehicles as requested by service advisors or technicians.
• Perform vehicle inspections to check for any damage or issues before and after service.
• Assist with washing and detailing customer vehicles as needed.
• Ensure that all vehicles are locked and secured when not in use.
• Greeting customers promptly in the service drive.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers and address their needs promptly.
• Assist with shuttle service for customers, if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager/Fixed Operations Manager.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), as well as standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
