Industrial Seamstress

• Operate an industrial single-needle Juki sewing machine to sew mainly DOWN JACKETS
• Follow work orders, patterns, measurements, production instructions, and sample requirements.
• Sew straight seams, edges, hems, labels, covers, panels, and other required components.
• Maintain consistent stitch quality, seam allowance, alignment, and overall product appearance.
• Inspect finished pieces for loose threads, defects, uneven stitching, or quality concerns.
• Adjust thread tension, change needles, replace bobbins, and re-thread machine as needed.
• Identify machine issues and report maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Trim excess material and threads while keeping the workstation clean and organized.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience operating an industrial sewing machine is required.
• At least 6 months of experience with single-needle JUKI machines is required.
• Experience in textiles, upholstery, foam products, furniture, mattress, garment, or manufacturing production is an asset.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
