Operations Specialist

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to become an integral part of our team! You will coordinate and oversee the organization's daily operations.

At Hansentek, we design and build specialized fire detection and suppression systems, including control panels, detectors, sensors, and spray nozzles. Our products play an integral role in keeping people safe every day. Responsibilities:

• Production Support/Inventory Control – coordinate inventory planning tasks and forecasting; set up work orders and distribute priorities. Schedule customer orders and production timelines; make sure customers get their orders accurately, and on time.

• Customer Support – manage relationships with our domestic and international customers; communicate regularly with via email and phone, taking orders and resolving issues; provide exceptional customer service and consultation.

• Sales Support – work closely with customers to provide customized equipment configurations that meet their unique needs; prepare quotes; provide product recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in technical production environments
• Experience in an inventory control role
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Any sales experience an asset
• Knowledge of inFlow inventory management software or other ERP solutions is beneficial
• Knowledge of drawing applications such as Corel Draw or AutoCAD is beneficial
• Any experience working with fire protection systems an asset
