Inside Sales Representive

Richelieu Hardware is looking for an Inside Sales Representative at our Dartmouth office.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while proactively identifying sales opportunities and promoting Richelieu's extensive portfolio of products.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell products.

• Achieve individual sales and customer service objectives

• Assist customers via phone, email, and in person by responding to inquiries, providing product and order information.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, orders, and delivery timelines.

• Process customer orders accurately and ensure all required information is captured.

• Follow up on quotations and customer inquiries to help convert opportunities into sales.

• Assist customers with product selection and provide basic product information and recommendations.

• Coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams regarding customer orders, pickups, deliveries, and product availability.

• Proactively contact customers regarding promotions, new products, and sales opportunities.

• Support outside sales representatives by generating leads and providing customer follow-up.

• Notify customers when orders are ready for pickup or when there are changes to their orders.

• Process payments and provide receipts, where applicable.

• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.

• Support the sales team with administrative tasks, order processing, and customer follow-ups.

• Monitor the showroom, displays, brochures, and promotional materials to ensure they remain current and professionally presented.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, or a related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Strong willingness to learn technical product knowledge and applicable safety requirements.
