Sales Consultant

is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and customer-focused Autobody Painter to help us WOW our customers at ABC Cadillac!

Job Duties

· Remove exterior trims and hardware

· Identify and evaluate all painting surfaces to determine the proper level of repair

· Identify and apply corrosive-resistant primers and topcoats for fiberglass and plastic

· Sand, spot fill, price and condition areas of repair

· Mask and tape for multi-tone work or to protect areas that do not require painting

· Apply primers, acrylic enamel, polyurethane, base coat, clear coat and other types of paint using spray painting guns

· Mix paint to blend and match colours

· Dry or bake newly painted areas

· Apply decals, transfers, stencils, specialty refinishing and detailing

· Other duties as required

Ideal Requirements:

· 2-3 years of previous experience in automotive painting

· The ability to work well in a team environment

· Strong attention to detail

· Education in automotive painting an asset
