We're hiring Cut-Off Operators in Woodstock, ON!
- Full-time position
- Afternoon shift, 2pm-10pm
- Starting at $21/hr
- Complete mill changeovers and equipment setups according to work instructions and production requirements
- Perform designated tasks throughout the tube-making process efficiently and accurately
- Verify product identification, markings, and specifications when required
- Inspect finished products for physical defects and identify non-conforming product
- Perform quality checks and SPC testing according to established procedures
- Complete destructive weld testing to verify weld integrity
- Collect, identify, and maintain tube samples for each coil number throughout production
- Quarantine and properly identify non-conforming product for further review
- Perform general equipment maintenance, including oiling, greasing, and cleaning
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Complete required production and quality documentation
- Basic computer knowledge
- General mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of workplace safety hazards
- Strong understanding of machine and hand tool safety
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow work instructions and production procedures
